tri Alpha Upsilon Alpha/International Reading Association
 

An honorary society to promote literacy in the classroom.  The organization has been involved with book drives and the Young Writer's Conference held annually at ISU.  Membership is by invitation to those enrolled in C I 377 with a 3.30 cumulative GPA or better.

tri Best Buddies
 

Best Buddies is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for one-on-one friendships. We do this by matching college students volunteers in mutually enriching friendships with persons with intellectual disabilities.

To increase awareness of exceptional children and youth and to promote the professional preparation of ISU students interested in providing for exceptional individuals.  Membership open to students in education.

Our members actively participate with other organizations and schools around the Story County area to promote and facilitate the healthy, active development of all young children.

tri Kappa Delta Pi
 

Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education, promotes excellence in and recognizes outstanding contributions to education. Maintains a high degree of professional fellowship among its members, encourages professional growth and honors achievements made.  Membership by invitation.  Second semester sophomores, juniors, and seniors with a GPA of 3.25 or above.

tri The Educational Computing Club (TECC)
 

The Educational Computing Club (TECC) was established to foster academic and professional development in the area of instructional technology. TECC members are provided with opportunities to learn more about various aspects of instructional technology in K-12 classrooms. TECC members are committed to discovering and developing best teaching practices that integrate technology and impact student learning at the local, state, national and international level.  Membership open to all students.
