Research Interests: Multiculturalism and multilingualism in schools, society, and especially in demographically-transitioning communities; teacher education and professional development for cultural and linguistic diversity; socioacademic identity formation of transnational U.S. Mexican youth; critical ethnography; cultural studies of science education.
