Gary Phye is the Director of the Psychology in Education Research Laboratory (PERL). Dr. Phye is an educational psychologist whose research / scholarly interests are focused on academic learning and problem-solving transfer with an emphasis on the use of technology as a tool to facilitate personal knowledge construction. He holds the rank of professor in the Department of Psychology and the Department of Curriculum and Instruction.
