Master of Education Degree
Desired Learning Outcomes of the Program:
- Understanding of Educational Scholarship and Theory relevant to the domain of interest.
Demonstrate knowledge of and ability to understand historical and current educational scholarly literature including empirical and theoretical writings by being able to read and apply educational writings to the improvement of practice in educational situations.
- Disciplined Inquiry
Demonstrate the ability to apply priniciples of disciplined inquiry to one’Äôs own educational practices to enhance self ’Äì reflection and the quality and effectiveness of one’Äôs practice.
Achievement of Learning Outcomes
Major Professor and Program of Study
In collaboration with the major professor and Program of Study committee, the student will develop an individualized plan of study designed to achieve these desired outcomes.
