Feedback Process
The CI Undergraduate studies committee will be charged with reviewing samples of student DPIs. In addition, samples of the work will be shared with the CI External Advisory Committee. These reviews will inform decisions about program changes.
Follow-up Assessment:
In addition, a formal system of assessments for stakeholders and graduates has been planned and implemented. Follow-up evaluations have been conducted for many years. Initial follow-up studies were conducted on graduates in 1981. Follow-up studies were then carried out in 1993, 1999, and 2003. These studies have been shared with the Teacher Education faculty and have informed departmental curriculum and program committees.
Beginning in 2002, a committee of Teacher Education faculty has been examining these systems of follow-up assessments and the instruments used. They have planned an ongoing rotating schedule of follow-up assessments. This planned schedule is listed below in Table 8-1.

The University Teacher Education Program Committee and Teacher Education Program staff will prepare reports from these studies that will be distributed to CI faculty and to the Undergraduate Studies Committee. These studies and reports will provide long term assessment of outcomes. The Committee will review these reports and use the provided information to inform program changes.
