Research Interests: Complexities in learning science, effective science teaching, the nature of science and its implications for effective science education, effectively teaching the nature of science to students, science education and the intelligent design/creationism/biological evolution public education controversy, effective school science laboratory learning, the impact of teacher behavior on student learning, science teacher education/preparing effective science teachers.
